To become an IIAM member, you must be an independent insurance agency in good standing with the insurance department. You must have a certificate of authority from at least one admitted insurance company, with the ability to write for multiple companies.To apply for membership, you will need to complete a membership application and return it and your dues payment for at least one quarter to our office. Our dues schedule is included on the application. In addition to IIAM, your dues include membership in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) and the Southern Agents Conference, and use of IIABAs national marketing brand, Trusted Choice. As required by our bylaws, your membership is contingent on approval by our Executive Committee.Thank you again for your inquiry.
